Animal Encounter & Nature Walk

Lake Lotus Park is offering interactive animal encounters and nature walks. Participants can interact with a variety of different animals while Park Rangers lead an interpretive walk that begins on the river trail and finishes on the fishing pier. On the walk, guests will learn about the wide variety of flora and fauna found throughout the park and how human impact is changing our local ecosystems. Open to ages 10 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.  

Dates: September 18, October 23, November 20 & December 11

Time: 10 - 11 a.m.

The walk is approximately 1 mile long. Guests are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen, bug spray and water.

  • Florida King Snake
  • Nelsons Milk Snake
  • Red Rat (Corn) Snake
  • Bearded Dragon
  • Rabbit
  • Taxidermy Animals
