Election Booths

The City Clerk is the designated qualifying official for city elections. The 2022 election is Tuesday, November 8. Qualifying for Commissioner District II and District IV begins Monday, August 29, 2022 at 12 p.m. and ends Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications for commission candidates include residing in their respective commission districts for nine months and being a registered elector. Parties interested in qualifying for or announcing candidacy for City Commission positions should contact the City Clerk’s Office at (407) 571-8122.

Forms to register to vote are available at the City Clerk’s office. However, registration applications or changes must be submitted to either the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections, a Seminole County Library or the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles Driver’s License Offices.

Candidates who have successfully qualified for office for any election (local, state or federal) and wish to place political signs in Altamonte Springs must follow rules for temporary signs.
