dChris Roberts

Chris Roberts attended Florida State University and was named a College Baseball All-American in 1992. He also competed for the 1992 U.S Olympic Baseball Team in the 1992. He was drafted in the first round (18th overall) by the New York Mets in the 1992 MLB draft. Roberts went on to pitch for eight seasons in the minor leagues and one season in Japan. After his professional career, he coached at several colleges and was the pitching coach at Stetson University from 2009 to 2015 where he coached NL Rookie of the Year, Jacob deGrom. During his time at Stetson, he had eight pitchers drafted by major league teams.

Darryl Knight

Darryl Knight went to Wekiva High School where he stood out as a power hitting catcher. He went on to play college baseball for Seminole State College and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He was drafted in the 14th round by the New York Mets and has played three seasons in their minor league system. Young baseball players gravitate to his positive coaching style and infectious personality.

Matt Pierpont

Matt Pierpont pitched for the Colorado Rockies AAA affiliate Albuquerque Isotopes in 2019. He was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2013 out of Winthrop University and has now played for seven seasons in their minor league system. Over his career in the minor leagues he has pitched 331 innings with a career ERA of 2.83.

Luis Curbelo

Luis Curbelo went to Cocoa High School where he was drafted in the sixth round by the Chicago White Sox in the 2016 MLB draft. Luis played five seasons in the minor leagues with the Chicago White Sox as a shortstop. In 2021, playing with the Winston-Salem Dash (White Sox High-A affiliate), he played in 109 games and led his team with 22 HRs and 66 RBIs.

Laz Rivera

Laz Rivera  played collegiate baseball at multiple schools including University of Miami, Chipola College and the University of Tampa. In 2017, Laz was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 28th round. He played four seasons with the MiLB Charlottes Knights (Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox). He has a career batting average of .283 and plays second, third and shortstop.
