Paul Giambalvo

Paul Giambalvo began his collegiate career at Seminole Community College before transferring to the University of South Florida. From there, he was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 21st round of the 1998 MLB draft. Paul went on to pitch for the Lethbridge Black Diamonds of the Pioneer League before an arm injury ended his professional career. In 2009, his passion for teaching the game led him back to Lake Howell High School (his alma mater) as the team’s pitching coach. He served as head coach from 2012 to 2014 before returning to the pitching coach position in 2015. Giambalvo fills many roles at the ABA, the primary of which is working with pitchers of all skill levels.

Mike McDaniel

Mike McDaniel was head coach at Apopka High School and Oak Ridge High School for two years. Before that, he spent several years as the hitting coach at Olympia High School. During the summer, he coaches elite high school travel teams and currently coaches in the FTB organization. He also served as an assistant coach for the Winter Park Diamond Dogs in the Florida Collegiate Summer League. McDaniel brings extensive high school, collegiate and professional coaching experience to the ABA. His teams have excelled for years, and he aspires to bring that same energy to the ABA. He works primarily with hitters, infielders, outfielders and catchers.

Yasin Chentouf

Yasin (Yaya) Chentouf went to Dr. Phillips High School and received First Team All-Region as a senior. He then played college baseball with the Pitt Panthers for three seasons where he became their all-time leader in saves. He was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in 2018 and played two years of minor league baseball in their organization. Over those two seasons, he has pitched 120 innings with a 3.15 ERA and 18 saves. In 2018, he was named to the Mid-Season All-Star team while playing with the Connecticut Tigers.

Larry Renovales

Larry Renovales began his collegiate baseball career as a short stop at North Central Missouri College in Trenton, where he lettered two years and was named to the All-Conference Team. He then transferred and finished out his collegiate baseball career at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Larry lettered both years at Mount Mercy and was named to the All-Region Team in 2000. After college, Larry returned to his hometown in Puerto Rico, where he played AA baseball for the Poetas De Juana Diaz. Larry is currently the head junior varsity coach and varsity assistant coach for Olympia High School. 

Isaiah Arana

Isaiah Arana played college baseball as an outfielder at Thomas College for three seasons. Before joining the Terriers, he played three years of varsity baseball at Timber Creek High School, winning the district championship all three years.

Ismael Cotto

Ismael Cotto played two seasons at Palm Beach Atlantic University as an outfielder posting a batting average of .333 during his final season as a Sailfish. He played high school baseball at Lyman High School.

Josue Cotto

Josue Cotto played four years at Lyman High School. He has a passion for coaching youth baseball and teaching players the fundamentals of the game.
